Who we are

Founded in 2011 by Haitian minister and activist James O. Lazarre, New Vision for a Better Life (NeViBL) is located in Arcahaie, Ouest, and is dedicated to serving the entire country of Haiti. Our vision is for every person’s basic human needs to be met through love and empowerment.

“Our desire is to answer God’s calling and to follow his steps by being helpful to church and community,” says Lazarre. “Our passion is to speak wisely and with God’s love for those who have no voice.” Especially, he adds, for the countless orphans and disinherited children for whom NeViBL seeks to provide loving families and homes.

OUR MISSION

To provide service to people in need, to advocate for justice in social structures and to call upon the church and others of good will to do the same, according to Jesus Christ’s model. Our aim is to magnify God through spiritual guidance, education and health via mentoring and exemplary leadership. As a faith-based, nondenominational organization, NeViBL was created to serve and to be a bridge between all who feel called to serve and those in need.

Our passion is to speak wisely and with God’s love for those who have no voice.
