What we’ve achieved
Our commitment is to serve God by serving those in need. Together with our caring donors and volunteers, NeViBL is making positive changes in the lives of Haiti’s most impoverished:
- Academic scholarships to assist orphaned and disinherited children with tuition, school supplies and uniforms
- Scholarships for continuing education
- Agricultural and farming classes to teach citizens how to combat hunger
- Micro-financing for small businesses through Vision Financial Services
- Vacation Bible School offering classes in arts and crafts, Bible study, basic computer skills, animation, English, sewing and cooking, sports and more
- Kids’ Club provides a weekly variety of educational and recreational activities including Bible lessons, arts & crafts, games and entertainment as well as classes in basic English, computers, sewing, cooking and much more
New projects
Food Program
NeViBL embraces Jesus’ command to feed the hungry. In addition to providing meals for up to 200 children through Kids’ Club, we assist many poor and homeless in the surrounding area.
Eldercare
NeViBL extends a helping hand to elders in our community who are in need of food and medical assistance
Housing
NeViBL continues to grow and build. Our orphanage dormitory is now home to ten children and construction on a second dorm is planned. Other scheduled projects include a guest house to welcome our volunteers and friends, a schoolhouse and a small bakery, as well as a farm and gardening compound.
